Nothing says religion better than a good brawl! What do you do when Monks go wild? Jerusalem police were called to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the Old City of Jerusalem where a fight between Monks from two different denominations was in full swing. There was kicking, punching, screaming, hair pulling and a few slaps as the Greek Orthodox and Armenian monks let loose on each other (oh what a fine example to set). And what set this fight off. Hmm, well it seems the Armenian monks were having a little procession to commemorate the finding of the cross believed to have been used in the crucifixion of Jesus and the Greeks weren’t invited. All the Greek Orthodox clergy wanted was one of their monks present at the procession just to make sure that there wasn’t anything underhanded going on. The Greeks don’t won’t anyone undermining of their claim to the church which is thought to be built on the site of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. So one thing lead to another and before anyone knew it there was a full fledge fight. Two monks were arrest, one from each denomination (to make it fair!).I must say it was more fun than watching WWF.

Wanna see the video ? I swear I saw an airborne monk, am I Wrong ? (Hint-he’s the dude in the red robe that suddenly flies into shot).
