OMG,a British academic, who has a PhD in psychology and is currently studying serial killers (in particular Jack The Ripper) is being held under suspicion of murdering three prostitutes.Nice one, hiding under the cloak of Academia. Stephen Griffiths was arrested after a caretaker discovered horrific, and I mean horrific, CCTV footage of a woman being shot in the head with a crossbow. The victim, Suzannes Blamires, was seen being chased down a corridor outside Mr Griffiths’ flat, bashed unconscious and moments later shot in the head with a crossbow bolt before being dragged away .Urgh, later footage shows a man, believed to be the university researcher, taking bin bags out of his flat. Oh dear and it just gets worse, police suspect Ms Blamires was dismembered with a samurai sword and some of her body parts eaten. Sheez, search his place I bet they find a DVD of Silence of the Lambs! Mr Griffiths was nicknamed “weirdo” by the neighbors, who are probably counting their lucky stars he never overheard them! Body parts, believed to be those of Ms Blamires, were found floating in River Aire on Tuesday.

Psst I wasn’t kidding the murders happened in Bradford, the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe’s stomping grounds.

WTF. A paedophile pensioner with a 30 year history of abusing little kiddies has been prescribed Viagra on the National Health System (NHS) in the UK. Bless! Roger Martin who is 71 simply went to his GP and asked for it because he suffers from diabetes (evidently that helps!). And guess what? There isn’t a single thing anyone can do about it! Probation officers who are assigned to Mr Martin are just shaking their heads in disbelief. To make the situation all the more disturbing Mr Martin has just this week escaped a jail sentence after assaulting an 11 year old last year because the judge believed he ‘wouldn’t be able to cope’ behind bars.WTF Nanny State? Peterborough MP Stewart Jackson said: “This is a bizarre and outrageous example of where common sense gets thrown out of the window in preference to so-called human rights and political correctness.”

Psst You know I sometimes wonder whether this is all done deliberately to keep the well oiled machine going. Pedophile re-offends, police arrest him, judge keeps him out of jail, doctor prescribes Viagra, he re-offends, police arrest him…. Now everyone is happy and all their jobs are safe!

Geez, first you become the new queen of the track, next thing you know you are being accused of being a man! Could life get any better? Seems some of Caster Semenya’s rivals aren’t too happy she won the 800m nor the fact she looks suspiciously like a man. Bummer! The 18 year old will now be required to undergo a gender test to dispel rumors and accusations. The relative rise from obscurity to become the women’s 800m world champion has more than raised a few eyebrows, especially as she eclipsed defending champion Janeth Jepkosgei by over 2 and half seconds. Results will be in, in about two weeks, but for Semenya I am thinking it really is a lose/lose situation. If it is proven she is a man, she will face the humiliation that only scandal brings and if the results prove she really is a woman, well she will have to face a whole different kind of humiliation.

Ouch, who’d want to be a man in Botswana. All hail Ministry of Health! They have just announced that they will be circumcising nearly half a million men in an effort to curb the spread of HIV over the next 5 years. Reason? Studies have revealed that circumcised men are 2 to 3 times less likely to contract HIV. The government is already running TV and radio campaigns to encourage men to visit clinics for  safe circumcision procedures (what are they likely to do it themselves?). Hmm that could be an awfully hard sell!

Gone fishin !

How the hell do you accidentally blow up a diver? Well, by using dynamite to fish for starters ! Oh for goodness sakes, four Vietnamese fishermen who were fishing in Phu Cu suddenly saw bubbles under the water and thought it was a big friggin fish so they tossed a stick of dynamite at it (as you do!!). Whoops, when they went to retrieve the fish they found one dead diver. Dynamiting a diver kinda takes the fun out of the whole experience, don’t ya think? Crap, what type of dynamite were they using that the friggin Coast Guard heard the explosion? Despite attempts to flee the scene, the authorities promptly arrested the four stunned mullets. Hmm, dynamite fishing is illegal in Vietnam because it damages coral reefs (no shit and divers too!). Hmm, wouldn’t it be cheaper just using a net? AND pray tell what friggin state would the fish be in after being blasted to kingdom come? So many questions….

Daddy dearest Josef Fritzl is currently on trial.Color him evil. The creepy dude with the gravity defying hairdo and eyebrows, needn’t have hidden his face as he entered because everyone knows what he friggin looks like. Mr Fritzl is on trial for the repeated rape and 24 year imprisonment of his 4th daughter Elisabeth in a dungeon under his house in Austria. During that time Elisabeth gave birth to 7 of his children, one of which died soon after childbirth. His daughter was raped nearly everyday, he came, he raped, he left without  a word. She delivered her first child alone, except for a pair of scissors, a blanket and a book on pregnancy in the damp,18sqm rat infested hovel. Despite being allowed to keep 3 of her children in the dungeon, he continued to rape her in front of them on a daily basis, simply turning the light out. Punishment came in the form of turning the power off for days on end with no water, food or candles.Escape was not an option as he had convinced Elisabeth and the children the underground hovel was booby-trapped. Fritzl’s lawyer Rudolf Mayer insisted he was a  misunderstood man ( I kid you not) “He is a man who wanted a second family and wanted to care for that second family. If it was just rape, sexual pleasure, then he wouldn’t have wanted children. He could have used contraception.This is a man who slept in the cellar with his children and spent time with them over the Christmas period.”  Oh and it gets better “He could have killed his daughter and everybody else and enjoyed the rest of his life as a respectable man.” Oh dear god, send him to jail too!!!!!

Canyon West's 13th is a bitch to play now!

Canyon West Golf Club could be in deep shit and I ain’t meaning sand trap. Hmm, investigators are still on the 13th hole of Weatherford Golf Course trying to find answers to why there is a  buried bulldozer? It seems someone buried the earth moving machine underneath the fairway some 14 odd years ago. Accident? I don’t think so! After a tip off the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Tarrant Regional Auto Crimes Task Force and the National Insurance Crime Bureau invaded the course and took shovels to the 13th . There they found themselves a 9,000 pound Ford rubber tire loader buried 10 feet under. Ewh dear, golf club owners, Stan Mickle and his father, Wes Mickle, are the likely suspects. It is thought the equipment was stolen and then used to build the course before being disposed of after the job was completed! Oh no, even worse, investigators are now checking to see if the Mickles reported the bulldozer stolen to claim insurance (surely not!). It is estimated that the dozer would have cost between $40,000 to $50,000 at the time.Fore!!!!

OK , Paul Duran Jr.wasn’t a real nice guy, but putting him in a cell with a convicted killer he had testified against, was wrong. Hmm, Paul Duran Jr.lasted about 15 minutes before he was beaten to a pulp and killed. The 23 year old was in Oklahoma State Penitentiary serving time when he got into a fight with a cellmate. As a result a prison guard put him in with Jessie James Dalton the dude he dobbed in as being the killer of Billy Wayne Ray in a trial 2002. An investigation is underway as to why Mr Duran was place in that cell.

Oh boy, laws are tough in Saudi Arabia (if you are a woman). Khamisa Sawadi,a 75 year granny, has been sentenced to 40 lashes and 4 months in the slammer for what was said to be “mingling” with two young men who were not her immediate relis.The two men were bringing her 5 loaves of bread when they were caught by the religious police. The two men, of which one was her late husband’s nephew, were also sentenced to prison and lashes. Ooh and guess who dobbed the old lady in ? Her nephew’s father that’s who. He accused her of corruption. Mrs Sawadi, who was Syrian born, will be deported after she completes her sentence. I am thinking that might be a good thing! Mrs Sawadi claimed during the trial  that her nephew was like a son to her and claimed she even breast fed him when he was a baby. Hmm, that didn’t help her one little bit! What Saudi Arabia needs are washing machines so these poor women can be liberated!!!!!!

Wait Just a Minute : Hmm,interesting, I went on the Amnesty International website to see if there was a helpful link for people who were outraged by this story and found this “Amnesty International does not currently have a presence in this country”.Eyebrow raise! When underarms go wild! The anti porn protesters in Indonesia (i.e. Islamic parties) have sited the traditional Jaipong folk dance as too erotic. Problem it seems is the audience get to see the dancers underarms. Jaipong dancers are on notice after West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan warned they maybe breaking the new anti porn laws. Oh and we aren’t talking bare underarms either, nope the dancers are all covered up in long-sleeved traditional kebayas when performing the dance. Lucky River Dance never caught on there!
