The news networks (OK mainly Fox) have Sarah Palin in their line of fire as they begin the “whose fault was it” autopsy of the 2008 US Election. She has become a better target than a moose. Hell, we all know Africa isn’t a country but a state in America, gosh!Oh come on leave Sarah Palin alone and let her keep the lipstick on and acclimatize (Alaska just got a little colder) before attacking her. Because, let’s face it McCain and Palin just couldn’t get out from behind the Bush. Remember the days when they use to blame it on the black guy, guess it’s women now (thanks for nothing Hillary!). Regardless, I bet her kids don’t ask her for help with their homework! Wanna see the mud slinging?

Guys, here is the deal, before you go and get a girl knocked up, I suggest finding a daughter of a politician. But choose wisely, mother-in-in-law should be running for something like, oh lets say, Vice President of the United States of America. Make sure mom has her own issues, so you aren’t the total focus, like say hunting moose or having a special needs child etc. Remember, if you get this right you are guaranteed front row seats to ever major function in the States, a seat on a Lear jet and much more opportunities than if you were still a redneck. If you are lucky, you may even get to meet your favorite ice hockey player. Oh and remember keep your mouth shut, let mom-in-law do all the talking (she’ll know exactly what to say). Or if you, by any chance want to speak, remember to borrow mom-in-law’s writers so you’ll have something articulate to say! Only real down side is that you will be center of attention for awhile, but hey it didn’t hurt Jamie Lee’s guy (what’s his name again?). Lets face it, it will be the only time knocking up a teenager has no ramification, it’s all good (oh except for no more Facebook!).

It had to happen, one of America’s Presidential candidates was going to pick a female running mate (is it still politically correct to say “mate” now?). Oh well, I bet McCain must have searched high and low for a female or an African American to counter attack the momentum of Obama. Finally he found a person of interest in little old Alaska (barely remembered as being part of America). The 44 year old moose hunter (PETA won’t be pleased),ex beauty queen, ex commercial fisherwoman and mother of five has been the Governor there for 2 years. Though she has little experience who cares,she has five kids and did anyone ever see Chaney during the Bush Administration? Plus she knows how to handle a gun, Mr Vice President! So, in the end we will all get to see history made regardless of who wins. Gosh, I love politics. All we have to do now is work out which history path to take, hmm a black man in the Oval Office or a woman as vice-president.Oh and whilst I am on the subject is it me or does “Obama and Biden” look an awful lot like “Osama Bin Laden” when you glance at it quickly?
