I ain't got it!

After thinking long and hard about the recent world financial woes, a thought occurred to me, where did all the friggin money go. SHouldn’t that be the question on everyone’s lips? Money just circulates, it doesn’t vanish. It has to be somewhere. So who’s got it? America ain’t got it and it seems Europe ain’t got it.Who’s got it? Saudi Arabia? China? How come no one is mentioning it? Shouldn’t we be a bit concerned about who has it? Trillions upon trillions of dollars simply vanishes and no one seems to be looking for it. Hmm, maybe we should be narrowing our eyes at the countries who still have banks. Well, one’s that have money in them!

Hey brother, could you spare us a dime?

It seems Wall Street may be renamed Dead End if a bail out proposal doesn’t go ahead. Like something out of a Hollywood thriller the bankers, the investors and us little people have been glued to our seats as we watch the many twist and turns. I can’t guess this ending! The latest hiccup has been the House’s failure to pass the bill. But this is an important decision, America’s last line of defense and it shouldn’t be rushed through. Nancy Pelosi delivered her line “When was the last time someone asked you for $700 billion?” like a well seasoned actor. The audience are riveted. But deep down everyone knows something has to be done or the comet’s gonna hit. Already stocks have spiraled to an all time low, people are moving restlessly in their seats, the popcorn has all been eaten and the movies about to reach its final climax. Where’s our friggin Superman? I am guessing many of the stars of this show will never be working in this town again!

OK, so which one of you guys wants the job now?

OK, I don’t want you to panic, but when George .W. warns the American people that their “entire economy is in danger”, you kinda want to panic. Poor old Obama and McCain even got dragged into the White House to be warned, face to face, of the oncoming woes. I am thinking the two candidates are a little less excited about becoming the 44th president of the United States. Rumor has it they were both whispering to each other..”no you can have it”…”no, you can!” Hillary is thanking her lucky cigar she got ousted before the shit hit the fan and George is just glad that his time is nearly up. Meanwhile, the Gordon Geckoes are cleaning out their desks and grabbing their big old pay outs on their way through the revolving doors.
